It was my first time to try Teochew cuisine here. The brine seemed a bit inferior, the fried oyster cakes were passable, and the best was the lychee duck. The waiters were attentive and the environment was comfortable.
"Shuang eel and foie gras uses good ingredients, delicious and expensive"
A group of five people ate Teochew food in Kowloon District and made a reservation. The restaurant arranged a table for four downstairs near the stairs. It was indeed busy during peak hours, but visually speaking, most of the tables could not be turned over that night. Around 9 o'clock, seven or seven guests had left. Eighty-eight. The restaurant is located in Hotel 1936, a Grade III historic building built in 1936.
I ordered a lot of cold special dishes that night, such as oyster cakes (128 mosquitoes), goose three treasures (298 mosquitoes), fish sauce soaked flower shells (198 mosquitoes), eel balls in plum sauce (298 mosquitoes), and crispy goose with lychee. The plate was not big, I didn’t order any drinks, I just ordered a few small stews, and the bill was over 1,800 yuan, which averaged around 370 yuan per person.
The prices here are higher than those at the higher-end or cold stalls, you get what you pay for, and the dishes look and taste better. Eel balls and crispy goose are rare in other restaurants. The former is a combination of refreshing eel meat and sour plum juice, which is very appetizing. The crispy goose is a Kung Fu dish, politely crispy; Put it into your mouth, and use the tip of your tongue to gently lift it up to your palate until it melts. As for the fish sauce soaked in fish sauce, it was a bit dull. It was said to be a cold dish but it was a bit lukewarm. The fish sauce had a strong smell of meat and sesame oil instead of umami, and the meat was tougher. The other dishes are all good, but there are no dishes that you must come back to.
The restaurant has a basement and a first floor. There is a level at the main entrance of the restaurant and you have to push the door. There is a barrier-free entrance on the left. There is an elevator directly in to the first floor or to the back of the restaurant. The environment is not spacious, the tables and stools are movable, and the dining area is tidy. There is a restroom for wheelchairs on the ground, but there is only one toilet, shared by men and women, and the inside is generally hygienic.
Take Exit E of Prince Edward MTR Station and go out on Nathan Road towards Mong Kok, cross Nathan Road and Prince Edward Road West, then walk along Prince Edward Road West for 5 minutes. There is a restaurant on the right.
The restaurant accepts credit cards, WeChat Alipay and other electronic payments and cash settlements.

Amase urine shrimp is super delicious
The most delicious Teochew food!
The food offered has subtle flavors and falls short in justifying its price. Additionally, there were gestures from the staff implying a desire for customers to leave. Despite a visually appealing decor, the cleanliness of the floor, …
The food is very delicious
Chaozhou cuisine. It’s amazing. I’ve had all the Chinese cuisines, but I’d never had 80% of the dishes served here. So different, so good.
